BackgroundEIF2C4 is a member of the Argonaute family of proteins that participate in RNA interference. This highly basic protein contains a PAS domain and a PIWI domain and is believed to play a role in short-interfering-RNA-mediated gene silencing. EIF2C4 is located on chromosome 1 in a cluster of similar family members including argonaute 3 and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2C, 1.
DescriptionMouse monoclonal antibody raised against a partial recombinant EIF2C4, clone 4G3.
